John 3:31

31 He that cometh from above is above all: 

he that is of the earth is earthly, 

and speaketh of the earth: 

he that cometh from heaven 

is above all.

It is pathetic.

Thinking anyone has real power in this world.

When the ONLY real power is GOD.

We have a whole blog dedicated to the LORD.

Not counting 112 other blogs devoted to the TRIUNE GOD.

One of the earliest things I learned that totally changed my way of thinking, was this.

Something John the Baptist called upon himself:

John 3:30

King James Version

30 He must increase, 

but I must decrease.

So, when I see music, movie, sports, business, tech, and political celebrities enjoying the adulation, worship, and support of their fans, and followers, I cringe.

They have no idea how GOD hates idolatry.

And how JESUS told us this:

Matthew 22:35-38

King James Version

35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, 

asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,

36 Master, which is 

the great commandment in the law?

37 Jesus said unto him, 

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God 

with all thy heart, 

and with all thy soul, 

and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first 

and great commandment.

EVERYTHING is of GOD, by GOD, for GOD, from GOD.

What part of that don't we understand?

Of course, if you have a different religion, you'd have your own "god".

And how the Christian Bible will correct you so!

How Satan has deluded man's mind to believe in lies.

How CHRIST's enemy keeps us asleep at the wheel.

No wonder many of us crash.

But our souls are in jeopardy.

Unless, and until we have the SPIRIT of GOD in us.

Who will correct all false notions.

He will interpret the Bible for us -- correctly, and precisely.

We all need the HOLY SPIRIT to teach, and guide us, about all things GOD.

Only then do things become awesomely clear.

As it did for this nearly-seven-years born again watchman.

When you are taught by GOD's OWN SPIRIT, boy, you marvel at the precision of answers.

Which SPIRIT leads me to in Scripture.

That's how I could create/write the blogs we did.

Without which, I'd still be figuring things out on my own.

But no longer.

I've got SPIRIT in my heart, mind, body, and spirit.

The world may boast of geniuses.

But I only look to JESUS for His perfection.

The world may boast of wealth.

But I only look to JESUS choosing GOD over mammon.

The world may boast of beauty.

But I only look to JESUS for the beauty of His teachings.

The world may boast of fame.

But I only look to JESUS Who cared for no such thing.

The world may boast of power.

But I only look to JESUS Who was given ALL power.

How, then, can the world satisfy me?

I've already got JESUS.

Beware your fascination with world power, trendsetters, and thought leaders.

These are nothing compared to GOD's GLORY.

Through our LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Amen!

BREATH from GOD

 

1 John 4:4

and have overcome them: 

because greater is he that is in you, 

than he that is in the world.

WELCOME to this first article in the "BREATH of GOD" series!

We shall know the power of GOD's breath and SPIRIT.

Much as man wants to deny there is a GOD, well, the LORD exists.

Many have no idea His might, power, and majesty.

But we do, thus, all the blogs on the LORD.

Our very breath belongs to Him.

It came from Him.

And will go back to Him.

And if you don't believe this born again workman, well, SPIRIT and Scripture give profound proof:

Genesis 2:7

7 And the Lord God formed man 

of the dust of the ground, 

and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; 

and man became a living soul.

Job 33:4

4 The spirit of God hath made me, 

and the breath of the Almighty

Who OWNS our CELLS?

 

1 Corinthians 2:10

10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: 

for the Spirit searcheth all things, 

yea, the deep things of God.

GOD knows I rest, by watching movies.

And even then, the LORD speaks through the movies He chooses for me to watch.

Today, He showed me a movie which made me question man's ways.

GOD made me watch "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks".

I was intrigued by the word they used -- "immortal".

For there's no mortal that's immortal.

As with every compelling movie, I do some research after I watch it.

And I learned that Henrietta Lacks contracted cancer of the cervix in 1951.

Now, they say it's actually adenocarcinoma.

What really bothered me was when they took samples of her cells without her knowledge.

"During her treatments, two samples were taken from Lacks's cervix without her permission or knowledge; one sample was of healthy tissue and the other was cancerous."

They called her cells "HeLa".

It seems her cells were "durable" and "prolific".

So much so, these were used for extensive scientific study.

"Previously, cells cultured from other human cells would survive for only a few days, but cells from Lacks's tumor behaved differently."

"It was observed that the cells grew robustly, doubling every 20–24 hours, unlike previous specimens, which died out."

It bothers me that the Lacks family was not informed of the doctor's, and hospital's intentions.

Apparently, in those early years, the tissues, or anything taken from a body, during surgery, belonged to the hospital.

I don't know about that, but when my brother's appendix was taken out at an early age, he got to keep it in a bottle.

Which fascinated me, of course -- seeing an appendix for the first time.

Another thing that bothered me was how Henrietta's second child, Elsie, was treated for her epilepsy and and cerebral palsy.

She was institutionalized and received the following treatment:

"Historian Paul Lurz says that it is possible that Elsie was subjected to the pneumoencephalography procedure, where a hole was drilled into a patient's head to drain fluid from the brain, which was then replaced with oxygen or helium to make it easier to see the patient's brain in X-rays."

All these things crush my soul.

These grieve my heart.

Oh, to have saved this mother, and child, from such!

So I turn to the LORD for clarity, and comfort.

I did mention, in another article, that only JESUS can cure us.

Our worldly institutions can't, for they are founded on many gods.

You only need to look at the "Hippocratic Oath", if you don't believe me.

As born again, I look at things Scripturally.

What does the Bible say?

Who really owns the cells of our body?

Who owns our bodies?

SPIRIT led me to these powerful verses:

People can debate all they want, but our bodies belong to the LORD.

which is your reasonable service.

which temple ye are.

I dedicate this post to Henrietta Lacks, the Lacks family, especially to Elise, who suffered greatly.

May the GOOD LORD guide us all, in the proper love, care, and treatment of each other.

Whatever profession, or industry, we may be in.

We are all children of the LIVING GOD.

Deuteronomy 10:14

14 Behold, the heaven 

and the heaven of heavens 

is the Lord's thy God, 

the earth also, 

with all that therein is.

It's time we paid homage to God.

It's time we honor the Creator of All.

It's time we loved God.

This blog was created a few minutes ago.

It wanted to be written.

So much so, everything came so easily.

The title, the form, the content.

God knows how much I've searched for Him, how much I've longed for His Truth, how much I wanted to get it right about Him.

Well, He showed up one day, when He knew I was ready.

Nearly 21 months ago, the Holy Spirit started teaching me about God, Jesus, Himself, the world, ourselves, the past, the present, and the future.

Are things any clearer?

Of course!

Only the Holy Spirit can bring clarity about God.

Only the Holy Spirit can teach us about Scripture.

Only the Holy Spirit can make us born again.

And yes, you've got to be born again to understand God, and Scripture.

If you're not, you'll have an incomplete education.

Everything's clear, simple, systematic.

An order known only to God.

On this 29th blog dedicated to the Lord, you will find all the verses and articles which reveal that ALL belong to GOD.

What were we thinking we had one iota in creation?

What were we thinking we have some power on earth, much less in heaven?

It's time to set things right, and honor the LORD, for all He's done for us, for His LOVE, for His SON's death on the cross.
