BREATH from GOD

 

1 John 4:4

WELCOME to this first article in the "BREATH of GOD" series!

We shall know the power of GOD's breath and SPIRIT.

Much as man wants to deny there is a GOD, well, the LORD exists.

Many have no idea His might, power, and majesty.

But we do, thus, all the blogs on the LORD.

Our very breath belongs to Him.

It came from Him.

And will go back to Him.

And if you don't believe this born again workman, well, SPIRIT and Scripture give profound proof:

Who OWNS our CELLS?

 

1 Corinthians 2:10

10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: 

for the Spirit searcheth all things, 

yea, the deep things of God.

GOD knows I rest, by watching movies.

And even then, the LORD speaks through the movies He chooses for me to watch.

Today, He showed me a movie which made me question man's ways.

GOD made me watch "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks".

I was intrigued by the word they used -- "immortal".

For there's no mortal that's immortal.

As with every compelling movie, I do some research after I watch it.

And I learned that Henrietta Lacks contracted cancer of the cervix in 1951.

Now, they say it's actually adenocarcinoma.

What really bothered me was when they took samples of her cells without her knowledge.

"During her treatments, two samples were taken from Lacks's cervix without her permission or knowledge; one sample was of healthy tissue and the other was cancerous."

They called her cells "HeLa".

It seems her cells were "durable" and "prolific".

So much so, these were used for extensive scientific study.

"Previously, cells cultured from other human cells would survive for only a few days, but cells from Lacks's tumor behaved differently."

"It was observed that the cells grew robustly, doubling every 20–24 hours, unlike previous specimens, which died out."

It bothers me that the Lacks family was not informed of the doctor's, and hospital's intentions.

Apparently, in those early years, the tissues, or anything taken from a body, during surgery, belonged to the hospital.

I don't know about that, but when my brother's appendix was taken out at an early age, he got to keep it in a bottle.

Which fascinated me, of course -- seeing an appendix for the first time.

Another thing that bothered me was how Henrietta's second child, Elsie, was treated for her epilepsy and and cerebral palsy.

She was institutionalized and received the following treatment:

"Historian Paul Lurz says that it is possible that Elsie was subjected to the pneumoencephalography procedure, where a hole was drilled into a patient's head to drain fluid from the brain, which was then replaced with oxygen or helium to make it easier to see the patient's brain in X-rays."

All these things crush my soul.

These grieve my heart.

Oh, to have saved this mother, and child, from such!

So I turn to the LORD for clarity, and comfort.

I did mention, in another article, that only JESUS can cure us.

Our worldly institutions can't, for they are founded on many gods.

You only need to look at the "Hippocratic Oath", if you don't believe me.

As born again, I look at things Scripturally.

What does the Bible say?

Who really owns the cells of our body?

Who owns our bodies?

SPIRIT led me to these powerful verses:

May the GOOD LORD guide us all, in the proper love, care, and treatment of each other.

The SILVER cord

 

Ecclesiastes 12:6

6 Or ever the silver cord be loosed, 

or the golden bowl be broken, 

or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, 

or the wheel broken at the cistern.

There seems to be truth to the saying, "hanging by a thread".

Over four decades ago, I woke up, and saw a long string, gently swaying, and glistening, in the air.

Actually, I seemed to be half-asleep, half-awake, as I witnessed that strange thing.

It connected my body on the bed, to my body up on the ceiling.

Researchers say it's an out-of-the-body experience, or OOBE.

Many "sensitives" say they see their body on the bed.

Well, the reverse was true for me.

I saw my body up in the air.

If not for the ceiling, I'd have gone off.

I knew that if that "string" snapped, or was cut, I'd be gone.

I also saw a rotating, large white circle (or disc) against the wall, with many things going on in it.

I don't know if that was to be my life.

Or it was the world's.

But the images seemed chaotic.

Apparently, it wasn't time to go yet.

Only GOD had control over my life.

Psalm 31:15

The top psychic researcher in my country was astounded that I saw the "silver cord".

That was a silver cord?

I had no idea.

No one could really explain that silver cord.

But I did see it.

Since I've been born again over three years ago, I dropped all new age explanation, and focused on GOD's WORD instead.

And now, I discover King Solomon's verse above, without really looking for it.

I very nearly forgot the dream, until the verse showed up today.

Surely, SPIRIT feels it's time for me to know what that decades-old experience was all about.

As if confirming my initial thoughts.

So, I checked other Bible versions, to tell me more about the "silver cord":

6 Earnestly remember your Creator before the silver cord [of life] is broken, or the golden bowl is crushed, or the pitcher at the fountain is shattered and the wheel at the cistern is crushed;

In SUMMARY, "silver cord" means:

Even not being born again then, I knew my life was literally hanging on "by a thread", from that glistening string swaying gently in the air, as if someone was going to play jump rope.

It looked so fragile, swaying like that in the wind.

GOD gave me the opportunity to see life, and potential death, in that one instant.

And then again, death of our physical bodies on earth means life with JESUS.

Something born agains look forward to.

2 Corinthians 5:8

and willing rather to be absent from the body, 

and to be present with the Lord.

King Solomon confirms what is to happen when that cord snaps:

2 Timothy 2:15

The LORD JESUS taught us how to pray.

But I noticed the Catholic schools I went to left something out.

And here's what I found missing.

They did not include this verse in our prayers.

Now, why would they do that?

Why would the Catholic church leave out a VERY important part of the verse?

EVERYTHING belonged to GOD.

Kingdom.

Power.

Glory.

I also wondered why, when we were taught the "rosary", another thing stood out significantly.

It was mostly "Hail Mary's".

Mercifully GOD came to my rescue.

SPIRIT clarified everything for me.

Now I am able to get the LORD's PRAYER right.

EXACTLY as the LORD JESUS taught us.

I intend to pray His COMPLETE prayer:

Matthew 6:9-13

Our Father which art in heaven, 

Hallowed be thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come, 

Thy will be done in earth, 

as it is in heaven.

Amen.

As workman for GOD, I'm all about precision.

That I do not deviate from the EXACT laws of GOD.

I don't have the heart to do so.

Especially I am tasked to share the GOSPEL with you.

I cannot leave anything out.

I am here to write, and to warn.

And to deliver the message, as is.

 I only care to share GOD's TRUTH with you.

It's how JESUS would want me to.

How misled all of us have been.

How corrupt our bodies have become.

How vile our minds have become.

Everything we watch, buy, think, and aspire for, have been focused on our bodies alone.

We have created temples, and gods, of fat, lust, greed, vanity, and pride.

But did you know our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit?

1 Corinthians 3:16

16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, 

and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

And that our bodies, and spirits, belong to the Lord?

1 Corinthians 6:20

And because our bodies belong to God, it is holy.

Generations past have not taught us to honor our bodies, and spirits, to glorify God alone.

We have all been deceived, and deluded.

Can we go back in time, and repair the damage?

We can only move forward now, as born again Christians, committing our lives, and ways to Jesus.

We must be sealed by the Holy Spirit of God, if we are to be worthy of the Lord.

Our vessels must be used for God's glory, in obedience to His will.

Romans 12:1

Self will disappear, when you commit your life to the Lord.

And you will not mind it at all.

If anything, you wish you had known it sooner.

The ways of the world will not appeal to you anymore.

If we have any love for God, let us sanctify our bodies, through the Holy Spirit of God, that we may be made worthy.

We must become holy, in honor of the Lord.

1 Corinthians 6:13

Now the body is not for fornication,

When the moment of Rapture comes, the faithful's bodies will be changed.

We cannot meet the Lord as we are now.

While there's still time, we need to pay immediate attention.
